Description
Back in the 1970s, when I was restoring my 1958 VW microbus, I would frequent foreign repair shops where parts and knowledge were stored. This is my friend Barry, who after college went to work at Bernie's Kennedy Motors repair center. Later, he went on to own his own business doing auto repairs for himself and training others as he was taught.

This photo was taken in a break from the day to day action. Resting in a chair I took this portrait with my Leica M2 and 50mm F2.0 Summicron, on Kodak Tri-X panchromatic black and white film.
