Personality:

Selena is in short a cold person. She's very sarcastic, blunt, and quite manipulative in her language. She has a very short temper to those bothering her, but if they challenge her to a fight, she can't say no. When fighting she is calm, unwavering, and noble in the sense that if she finds them seriously outclassed compared to her, she'll go easy on them and once they are tired, she pins them down until they say Uncle. If she fights someone who she's outclassed by, she'll give it her all, feeling exhilarated and energetic, getting an adrenaline rush and genuinely smiling.

She is though an honest and trustworthy person should you decide to go to her for an ally. Loyalty's a hard-earned thing for her, and to gain a friendship from said loyalty is even harder coming from her. She's seen a lot since her travels, and how even family members can be cruel to each other, whom loyalty should be second to none to her. You get what you give, that's what she thinks. If she has done something wrong to someone and demands compensation, she won't resist. She expects the same from others though, and she can be merciless.

Should she be asked about guns and artillery, she'll be surprised, but eager to help out, because, who ever asks about that sort of thing around her?

Past:

Selena was brought up in a very high class life. Got what she wanted, didn't do much to get it, did very well in school-related activities, and learned how to play the guitar.

But she was bored.

So she decided to try and see what her parents were doing. She tried asking about their job and what they exactly did, but they were very vague and it bothered her. So she tried to follow them and see what they were doing. By the time she was found in the trunk of their car, they knew that they had to distract their daughter somehow, and they got her a kick boxing instructor. It got her tired and was unable to follow them again.

Of course after a few years of being taught her stamina and strength grew that wouldn't be as tired. And the sneaking began once again. Her recent evolution to a Ninjask made it also easier to get around quickly and quietly. She got so close to it, and just as she was about to get into an appointment that her father once muttered about to listen in, her father found her. So they took a risky move by sending her to a town where another teacher could teach a specific form of martial arts. There were many dojos and instructors there, but one caught her interest; Muay Thai. The Infernape family of teachers were among some of the best in their field and wanted to go there for teaching.

And so she was taught. She mastered the basics very quickly and grew bored of the women teaching her and the students around her. She skipped one of the lessons to see what the male teacher was working on, and it excited her to see the moves they were learning. She wanted to be taught by him, not the women who continued with the rather simple movements! The advanced techniques awed her and she demanded that she be moved to his class. The woman took her to meet the male teacher, who took her aside to explain her that she was unable to yet. It infuriated her and pointed to a girl in the class who was younger than her. A Monferno girl no less. He told her that it was her daughter, a prodigy in Muay Thai and was years ahead of her older brother in the techniques. She then got an idea and said to the father; if she were to beat his daughter, she would be allowed to take part in his class with the advanced techniques in her grasp. He was surprised, but laughed at the idea; and yet he accepted her deal.

She went up to the Monferno girl, went right up into her face, and challenged her to a match. The girl simply shook her head, and ran off into the family property. Selena was baffled by her response. She looked to the instructor, who chuckled, and realized why he laughed at her. She chased the girl up to the point that they reached a stream she could not cross and enraged her. Why wouldn't she fight her? Then the girl spoke; she had a quiet voice and stuttered a lot, but explained that she heard her speak to her father, and did not want to fight her. She saw Selena in practice, and thought as well she could advance, but only if she was truly willing to go through the hardships of the Infernape's teachings. She was firm and vigilant in both her response and in the class she soon became accustomed to. She sparred with the girl, never winning but always learning.
She enjoyed herself very much.

Unfortunately, the time came that her parents wanted her to return home. She was gone for so long and they worried that she truly was alright there. The night before her return home, she saw the Monferno daughter one last time. She told of her plans and that she were to leave in the morning. The Monferno simply nodded and wished her well. They chatted, and then realized before leaving, they never told each other's name. They laughed, but both were ashamed they never thought of it. They told each other's names, gave each other something that belonged to them to remember the other by, and in the morning Selena was gone.

Her life went on as it always was before she went on her trip. Practiced her guitar, studied with her private tutors, used her laptop, took a small interest in music software, and barely made any tries to sneak off and find out her parents' jobs. At this point, she was 16, sitting in a massive home, wasn’t interested in boys like most, and had sometimes nothing to do. She finished kick boxing before leaving, and couldn't find anyone that would give her lessons to continue Muay Thai to refine her knowledge. Plus she missed the girl whenever she practiced.

Her life changed again though when she was out shopping for things related to a Christmas party she had to go to with her parents. She had to go dress shopping, a bore to her as always, and had to go down an alleyway to get home. She bumped into a gang of guys, yelling at her to get out of the alley because of some sort of fling going, and it pissed her off. She continued to try going past, and started irritating her, trying to flirt and swoon her. Something snapped inside of her and she ended up fighting her way through, mixing her kick boxing and Muay Thai training together to be free of the men. The adrenaline rush she got still vibrated inside of her, even after she got home. How in the world did fighting ever do this to her? It surprised her and thrilled her, and wanted to go through it again.

The next day she had to return to the alleyway because of more things to prepare for the Christmas party and the gang was there again when returning home. This time they backed away from her, and she smirked while going. As she was going around the corner, one of the guys offered her a ticket to see something spectacular as he described. At first she thought he was crazy to think she’d believe him. But, it seemed to be so enticing, to at least see what the heck was going on. She went to the location indicated on the ticket, held it up to bodyguard, and went on her own way there.

There she discovered her own ticket to becoming a professional fighter. She watched a tournament of matches between men, women, and mixes of the genders. No moves were used in the fights; just sheer fighting ability. At the end of the tournament, the champion of that tournament challenged the audience if anyone dared to fight them for the title, they would be able to take them on. Selena’s thoughts went straight to the gang and the fighting, and ran up to challenge them. Everyone laughed, seeing her small stature and meek look, but the champ didn’t care. They wanted a fight, and fight was going to be given; it left the crowd speechless. Selena beat them. No dared to cross her when she left.

And she loved it.

She continued returning to fight there, gaining a rep over the next few years. She liked calling herself a professional fighter, even though the matches weren't really the official ones on the TV screen. The mess up she had with a Fire Type using a move in a match resulted in the scar made on her face and her parent’s discovery of the tournaments she enters. She was surprised that they didn’t reprimand her; rather, they let it go and made a deal to her: continue in her tournaments, or have them finally gave in to her questions of their jobs. The choice was obvious.

It excited her so much after waiting over ten years she would finally see what her parents would do when they left the house. She learned that they owned a business. One that included the selling of guns to many types of clients, whether they were corrupt business owners to the mafia men to the government officials and agents. They stood as the middle ground to get their wares for whatever purpose they had for them. They didn’t question them, they wouldn’t get hurt. It was a strict and risky business they owned, but it made them successful. And Selena was about to become a big part of it. Her finished private tutor lessons allowed her to be counted as a graduated high school student, making it possible to learn more of her parents business and about the supplies they owned. Up until now, she carefully studied everything she needed to know about the firearms in stock, their advantages, disadvantages, their magazines, and what they’re best suited to. She became an advisor to clients wanting a certain gun for them to use, making the business a bigger success then it was before. She kept up with the appearance that they were a big international travel agency, as they were worked in the flight patterns to figure out when to make their appointments and when to send off their cargo undetected. She learned to shoot and was very skilled in using sniper rifles and handguns. Her parents then decided for her to take another trip, this time to relax and have fun. Why they suddenly decided it she didn’t know, but she simply shrugged and went along with it. Besides, why argue?
