Description
This is a gift prize for who came in third at -contest "Zora + aquatic animal".Surprisingly it did not take me very long to color the sea dragon. I did so while watching the last soccer match of Bayern MΓΌnchen
(a soccer match is 90min long). BUT it did take me long to decide what to do with the background 
. Anyway her entry was this awesomely colored piece, which includes a leafy sea dragon and a leafy sea dragon Zora
:Theme of the prize was an aquatic animal of choice and chose a weedy sea dragon. So here it is and I hope you like it

That is amazing! I really love the bright colors and the small yellow spots. And the kelp/seaweed in the background really seems to move in the water.

I must say - my fav is still the early cell-shaded one thought,but hey - this is not wrong either ^^

Since Seahorseys and seadragons are relatives, I won't blame you for mixing them up
Cell-shaded version? You mean cell-shading like done in Wind Waker? I usually do not use cell-shading-techniques, but instead use the smudge, burn and dodging tool for shades or I will draw them into the pic directly and then blur them in with the rest.
Or do you mean the previews of the sea gras were I first just had green leaves with a yellow rim? Else I didn't add much effects to the sea dragon himself since you saw the prev. I just used the burn tool on the lower parts, indicating light from above.

ah yes - the first prew you ever showed me,is what I call cellshade,as thats was before it got more shaded along with the background -seaweeds- haha ^^
I bet it will be interessting nontheless,
even if it may happen to be just 80-90 procent ;3
