Banzai continues explaining himself. He admits that he kept his feelings about Shenzi to himself since she didn't seem interested in romance with anyone, but he still tried to win her over by being a funny tough guy all the time.

Seriously, it's hard to spot with all the smoke, but Shenzi totally gives Banzai a pat on the back after he launches Zazu out of the Birdie Boiler. She was impressed.

I used some references from the movie for this page since those panels are directly flashing back to those moments. I'm pretty happy with how Banzai snapping at Simba and Nala turned out.

Also, I'm going to have fewer panels on each page for most of this scene since it's so dialogue heavy and needs the room for the speech bubbles.
