Description
For the 2008 Horse Art RPG Annual Show. They took first in their class!Compass and Northbound performing in-hand for the Foal at Foot class (FaF).
It's hard to create a black without actually using black. Worked on it off-and-on and without reference, so forgive the many mistakes.

Adorable, of course! And I actually sort of love the black-without-black, especially on the mare's legs (that near fore is gorgeous!). Your horses always look so natural and graceful.

The black problem... well it looks like the legs only need to be a little darker and then it will work just fine

Thank you very much! I've taken up a bit of a "devil may care" attitude this year with my art, just kind of plunging in and seeing what turns out. Mistakes are par for the course and aren't to be fussed over.
