Photographs from the Museum of Fine Arts Boston's Speed Style and Beauty exhibit - The Ralph Lauren Car Collection - some might not think of cars as art, and im not even a car enthusiast, but some of these cars are just amazing....

96' McLaren - 675 horsepower 250mph 0-60 in 3.3 seconds.........that, blows my mind...this is the fastest production car i've seen with my own eyes and its almost 10 years old, its only beaten by the most recent lambourghini. This photo is of the tires because it shows the beauty of a car in a different way, although this car isnt "classic" or beautiful in the most exquisit form, its beauty lies in its sheer efficiency, its solid lightweight poly frame is baked solid in an oven, and fitted over wood, on top of a frame made from aluminum composit, this is what allows the sheer speed, its one of the lightest cars with such a large engine. Just had to take this shot, for some reason the wheel appealed to me, and the shapes of the composition.
