Digital over pencil in Corel Painter.Finally took a break from work and painted this thing. Hope it looks okay. I normally like using a lot of color but I thought I'd try and tone it down a bit for this one.

I'm really impressed with the composition, but especially the color, and how you utilized a color scheme that isn't *quite* monochromatic. The powder blue and the ochre add a lot of depth.

This is interesting, is that a Loki death type character? It makes me think that he tricked her into sleeping against a tree in the snow and she died peacefully by the quiet lull of the cold

I do love this, the only thing I can think of is the lack of texture (everything is so smooth and buttery!). I like butter, but I can't help but feel the branches need some texture or even some random foliage to break up the "glazing" effect.
Don't mean to come off as an ass, this is just an observation 9_6

it looks like its cover in painting. instead of frozen.
if you see pictures of frozen snowy places you can see different colors, but are way more subtle, its never this clean, even when it looks like it.
