These are weird ears!
They're meant for sort of a mermaid creature. I had been requested to make them similar to those of a mermaid from a manga, but I never knew what comic it was.
I'm re-making this model, which already was in my catalogue, enhancing the shape and improving the design also making it easier to wear.
...I guess this doesn't show very well in the clay prototype, so I'll upload a pic of the new latex prosthetics as soon as I finish a pair (which will be soon, as these are an urgent commission).

Not that it's always easy, for many reasons the most important of which is called "taxes", we really have a bad period in Italy about that and taxes haven't been so many and so much in ages. But I try, it's my life, I have only one, I want to realize my dreams.

I use clay a lot to make prototypes and then moulds, but I never have any piece baked (turned to terracotta). That'd be the challenging part

In the latex version there will be a hole in which the real ear enters ^^

lol, I figured as much. I really need to work on what I say being what I actually mean.
I meant, although I did not say this, is where are the real ears going to be placed inside of the latex ears. I am assuming that they are going to fit into the latex ears where the middle ridge is but I was not certain.
Why I asked at all is because, if in fact, the latex ears will be worn below the middle ridge I was curious as to how well they would stay up or look do to their curious shape.
Yes, I know this is completely different from I actually said but this is what I meant.
Anyways, sorry for the stupid incorrect question and for the long explanation and apology afterward.

I got what you wanted to say!
The real ears will go more or less in the middle, there the various lines meet. The lower edge, where it's slightly curvy, will lay along the jawbone.
Anyway it's pretty much needed that one uses spirit gum or some other type of glue for having these ears in their position when one's moving around.
