I've redone my World of Mortal Engines Map, What do you guys think?

In the 60 minute war, the American Empire and Greater China ripped the Earth apart using slow bombs, virus rockets and orbital lasers. Central America was severed and destroyed, North America was reduced to a radioactive wasteland, South China flooded, The North Sea dried up and ice sheets grew to meet Scotland and Patagonia. As new mountain ranges grew and volcanoes appeared overnight, humanity struggled to survive.
This is The World of Mortal Engines.

Indeed, I am working on political maps for the time of both the Prequel books and the Originals, this is just a blank map.

That's really nice of you to say, RM! Y'know, I think I've actually started, stopped and started over on pre-war ME maps a... fair few times. There's a lot of freedom to work with, being little to no concrete detail from canon, but that's the fun of things like this, right?
When the movie was announced I got pretty far into a new attempt at one but ended up getting distracted by trying to give a third go at this map. (finished most of europe then got tuckered out) Come to think of it, I spent a fair bit of time early in the year combing through canon material to get a better idea of the worldbuilding. So there's probably some sketches and notes from then I could throw at you. I'll see what I can do.
