You know how sometimes you just want to go off on your own, find a little space away from everyone else and do your own thing? This is one of those moments for me. I'd taken my family to Seaton Beach in Cornwall and met up with some friends down there, but I wasn't in a "beachy" mood; I had my camera and I just wanted to go off and find something to shoot. By the time I came back, I'd killed almost two hours in what felt like ten minutes.

A lot of the photos I took that day spawned from four or five locations, shot at different speeds with various filter configurations, and although many seemed OK at the time, when it came to reviewing them I wasn't that impressed. On the up side, buying a remote for my Nikon was the best £15 I ever spent because I was able to shoot without having to worry about jerking the camera!

This one seems to be the exception however and though I've processed it quite heavily to get it how I want, I'm quite pleased with the end result. I hope you like it too.
