sorry guys but even I have to draw mushy lovey stuff every once in a while. x'D feels good to get this out of my system awwyeeeahuggh I've got a huge art project deadline coming up but I had to draw something for myself before diving into that because otherwise I'd go crazy. :c So of course I drew Thor and Sif. Mythology canon OTP yesss
... Sif totally wears the pants in this relationship. xD For my versions of these characters, Thor may be the single most powerful god, but he's rather timid and passive when it comes to romantic situations. x'D Sorry, Thor!

All those music titles made me look for lyrics, and for some reason "Sound the Bugle" from Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron reminds me of Loki when he's imprisoned in that snake cave. :0 It really does.
Most animated DreamWorks films have lyrics that could fit these gods - at least Joseph and Spirit do. ...Balto isn't a DreamWorks film, but "Reach for the Light" is SO a Hod song. ...Even if it has lyrics that need people to 'see'. X'D It might also fit Balder, though - at least I think that once he and Hod come back after Ragnarok, he might have become more mellow and humble after spending some time in Helheim. :0 Y'know, now I want to make a list of Disney, DreamWorks + other animated film songs and match the gods with them. wut

"Love Will Find a Way" from Lion King 2 makes me think of Sigyn and Loki. The whole thing with Kiara and Kovu just reminds me of them - how Kiara falls in love with a renegade who nobody really acknowledges until the very end.

However, this guy is the best singer in the whole anime industry. They wouldn't have picked him to dub dozens of Disney heroes if he wasn't - he's voiced the Genie in Aladdin, Sebastian in the Little Mermaid, Mushu in Mulan, Stitch in Lilo & Stitch, Beast in Beauty and the Beast... and he sung the Japanese versions of their songs. Heck, he's Donald Duck's Japanese voice. I HAVE to get my hands on "Great Spirit" and "Everybody Wants to be a Cat". XD
...You know, if we ever get to creating Sinni, Yamadera should be his voice. XD That way "Circle of Life" would be a fitting theme song for him. I mean, him being a god of time and all. XD

8D Japanese people are said to age backwards. XD It's happened to Toshiyuki Morikawa, too. That's him - the blond pics are the old ones (he's around 35 in them), while the black-haired ones are the new ones (and he's 45 in these).
Though THIS guy honestly surprised me a great deal just now. [link] He's the seiyuu of Pegasus Seiya from Saint Seiya, and Amuro Ray from the original Gundam series. ...He's turning 60 next year and he REALLY does not look his age. I mean, Hel. He looked exactly like this in Gundam 00 live events four years ago.
