ZOMG! It's been forever since I posted a demote! It was when Tahno still had his hairbending skillz... I miss that guy.ANYWAYS. I liked this one. I seperatly edited the photos so they were dramatic in their own way.
But admit it. Seriously. Lin losing her bending was more a shock then Korra losing her's. Comon, we all saw it coming.
But I was glad when Lin ot her bending back ^^^

This is true. I think it is partially because Lin loosing her bending was very sudden and hadn't been building up for the whole season. It was unexpected and much more shocking. There was also the added fact that she was doing it to protect Tenzin and his family. I know that Korra was protecting people too, but she's the Avatar and it's expected of her both in the context of the show and by the fans, while Lin ultimately didn't have to do what she did, especially with her unpleasant past with the people she saved. She did it because it was the right thing to do, not out of obligation.

I was more depressed with Korra. She spent her entire life mastering and perfecting three elements while forced to live isolated from everyone. And she was ^So afraid to lose them and they were her purpose in life. All that hard work wasted.

I was defiantly more dramatic when Lin lost her bending then Korra... because Korra almost lost her bender a couple of other times. and Meelo and all the others looked so sad when Lin sacrificed herself for them.
But Lin got back her bending! WOOO!!
Even if Lin didn't get them back she still would have be an awesome fighter.
but she got it back!!! That was the best part in the final!

I cried at Lin's yes. But that left me about 90% certain bending could be restored. No way they're going to let a main character lose her bending.
When Korra lost hers, all I could think was "Yep, bending will be back in about ten minutes." It was dramatic, but I was so hoping for Avatar State that I didn't even care she lost hers.

I think the whole idea that this was meant to be a miniseries really kind of ruined the ending. They wouldn't end a miniseries with an Avatar with only airbending. You knew she'd be OK.
