Description

With 550m in length, the Jannisor class is on the upper end of the scale for cardassian vessels. The ship was first identified in the cardassian - federation war in 2345 were its name was slightly lost in translation, henceforth the ship is more widely known in Starfleet as "Janissary" class. Even if this small twist in letters (which, to be honest, happens quiete often with recently build cardassian vessels) was not intentional, the ship is equally feared as her historic counterparts, the ottoman Janissaries were in Terras past. This is not only due to the fact that the ship bears a ridicilous punsh with 4 spiral wave disruptors and over 20 torpedo launchers in total, but also because the ship is in its hole designed to capture enemy vessels. To fullfil this goal, the ship has a specially developed tractor beam unit underneath the bridge, one of the few devices strong enough to entrap a romulan D'Deridex Warbird, as well as boarding pods in the rear. Hereby, a specialist elite boarding crew can be launched in special vessels that can attach to an enemy ship and breach its hull, to enable the boarding crew to enter the target. To assists ground operations, the ship has a second role as a troop carrier, able to host 16 Belcanor class dropships, thus able to launch between 1.152 and 1.536 armed personell in one departure.

I haven't completed the interior hangar yet, although only texturing remain, also when making the promo I recognized I missed the position lights, so back to Blender it is As soon as this is finished, the Jannisor / Janissary class vessel will be free to download and use for everyone
