Ok...I got round to completing this a little sooner than I had thought. Not too surprising though - Walter is just fun to paint/draw
The recolouring of the face and hair, as well as the addition of the shoulders should give people who are unfamiliar with this character a better idea of his image.
I only had a small reference image to work from for this, so I had to be slightly more careful with the details. However, I think it worked out about right. This picture looks more drawing-like as this time the face is also contructed of lots of small sketchy lines of colour. Oh, and then that coat...that took most of this evening.
