The Wrath of Parousia
The Wrath of Parousia are the main antagonists of Final Fantasy Cross Season 1. They are all Infected by the Will of Parousia (which is essentially the "final boss" of Season 1); however, they differ in that they all possess extremely powerful Hyperions and maintain a slight sense of self (their personalities). They command those legions of victims who have been driven insane by the Will but were too weak to maintain their egos. They are based on the forbidden continent of Gedrir within the abandoned Yvirr Castle….

Cloud Strife

That's right, Cloud's a villain. Sorry, folks! (He also has a silky new ponytail down his back.) Cloud's past is an enigma, but he has a very deep connection to Mechapolis , KOS-MOS , Sephiroth , and Squall . In Episode 01 of Season 1, Ziedrich is ordered by MOTHER to locate Cloud and kill him. He is a wanted criminal engaging on a vast killing spree all around the world. Cloud is able to use Cross and Hyper Form from the start, which throws off Ziedrich and frightens anyone who sees him. However, Ziedrich pursues him to Syris , where he unleashes the Plague on an unsuspecting town center…. This is where the story begins.

In FFC Cloud uses a gunblade. This gunblade, however, can actually fire bullets. Cloud's Hyperion is what we call King Bahamut, which is essentially the Bahamut from Final Fantasy X. He is under the sign of Sabin (Physical, or "non-elemental"). In his Cross Form, King Bahamut's giant ring appears on Cloud's back, his skin grows scales, and he sprouts both of those majestic dragon wings.

Cloud is originally from the RPG Final Fantasy VII, and he is voiced by my cousin. His Wrath costume deviates from the others a little; his gloves are missing two fingers on both hands.

Oh, and I know Cloud's foot is missing. This picture is actually a combination of two notebook pages, and I couldn't think of any other way of combining them together without messing up the composition. Cloud's foot went off the page. xD

Rico Banderas

Rico is a silent (but violent) demihuman grappler working in the wanted terrorist group AVALANCHE. (The other members include Rude and Barret.) They target various weapon depots in Fraughfield and Henhue , stocking up for their attack on the Republic. They claim to be waging war in the name of equal rights for the full-blooded humes in Fraughfield, but in reality they are no more than thugs with delusions of grandeur.

Rico heads to the Republic with the other two after stocking up on goods in Henhue, buying from a dealer named Reno. Brothers Fei and Axel witness this event, which prompts a meeting between the two groups. Fei is even offered a place in AVALANCHE, but luckily he declines.

They leave him with some foreboding words…that they are planning something big in a few days…something that will revolutionize the Fraughfield Republic and the world….

Rico is a demihuman, so he has no Cross or Hyper Form. His Element is Earth, but his berserker wrestling style is more than enough to destroy his foes, though….

Rico is originally from the RPG Xenogears, and he is voiced by my brother.

Ansem disappeared many years ago from the Kingdom of Syris , long ago when Lenneth was just a small child. He was a legendary knight who served under the current King, Garland. Ansem's disappearance occurred right before the outbreak of the next big war between Syris and Henhue when previously they had been in a grace period. Many had even believed that war would have ended soon, but something happened that reignited the flames of hatred between the two powers. In present day, Sir Karsh of the Royal Knights is sent to try to rediscover Ansem's whereabouts after Garland begins to worry about the Plague. Ansem is alive and well, however…and he seeks a certain young man named Fei ….

Ansem's Hyperion is Cerberus. He is under the sign of Setzer (Status). With Cerberus's powers, Ansem can use Double and Triple on himself, which in FFC actually multiplies his stats as well as the number of times he attacks. So with Triple Ansem would become three times as fast, strong, defensive, etc.

Ansem is originally from the action RPG Kingdom Hearts, and he is voiced by my brother. Ansem also went and grew himself a goatee, as well. xD

Karsh
Age: 30
Hyperion: Carbuncle, the Mirror of Fate
Element/God: Light/Relm
Weapon: Dual One-Handed Broadswords

Karsh was the Captain of the Knights of Syris before he is dispatched to try to find Sir Ansem's location. He was also in charge of training the squires, which included Lenneth as a child. He is Hrist's lover, and Lenneth thinks of him as an older brother. They worry about Karsh traveling the world alone with the Plague spreading around everywhere, but Karsh assures them that he'll be fine.

Karsh seems a bit rough around the edges upon first meeting, but he is actually a kind-hearted man who cares deeply about his troops. He leaves on his mission in Episode 01 of Season 1, but he returns much later. And something is definitely "different" about him when he does….

In FFC Karsh has a scar over his eye, and he's grown quite a bit of stubble. He dual-wields one-handed broadswords in battle. Karsh's Hyperion is Carbuncle. He is under the sign of Relm (Light).

Before you say "oh man, what a crappy Hyperion," realize that we mean the massive, beastly form of Carbuncle from Final Fantasy V…THIS one. Also, thanks to his Hyperion, Karsh can reflect spells and cast all sorts of protective Magics on himself, like Shell and Protect.

Karsh is originally from the RPG Chrono Cross, and he is voiced by my cousin.

Element/God: Fire/Locke, Ice/Celes, Lightning/Edgar

Zeal is the wife of Dean Bugenhagen from the Phrellia Academy . She went missing many years ago after she had been hospitalized by a mysterious illness. Apparently someone had broken into the infirmary where she was being kept and abducted her. Bugenhagen had not seen her since, but he has never stopped searching for her….

If you're wondering why Zeal looks so young when Bugenhagen looks so old, it's because she uses magic on herself to stay that way.

Zeal's Hyperion is Tritoch, which makes her a Hybrid and an extremely dangerous Mage. She can cast spells of Fire, Ice, AND Lightning Elements (Locke, Celes, and Edgar). She has also mastered each of her Elements, so she can cast the Omega spells of each one as well (Omega Red, Omega Blue, & Omega Yellow from Chrono Cross).

Zeal is originally from the RPG Chrono Trigger, and she is voiced by me. She is the only female and the only pure Mage of the Wrath.
