Description Arabian horse *o* Don't know its name unfortunately.
I think this is one of my best traditional drawings yet I love how the head came out, and those eyes, I think you can see it's energy and personality in them. Eyes are a pathway into the soul, someone said, and I think that's one of the most truthful statements ever said.
This was most challenging to draw ^_^


Took me around 7 hours I'd guess.

I love the mane and tail! The contrast between the light and dark is very attractive. You are right, the eye is very well done, its the best part of the picture.

this is gorgeous!!! the shading techniques for each part of the horse are spot on, the energy... youre right is expressed in the eyes, but also just through the energetic pose..... i dont think i need to say more as others have said it all! there thats how good it is

So sorry it took me SO long to get around to commenting on this!!

It is really lovely, I love the pencils strokes that follow the coat hair growth direction. Also you did great with the dapples and the general shape. I really like the mane/tail too. And I agree, the eye is definitely the most important part... it conveys all the expression, and if it goes wrong the whole drawing can be ruined... but I'd say you got it right

Let me see, where shall I start? Firstly, before I start blabbering I want you to know that this is, in my opinion, the second best drawing I have seen from you (the best one is - and will always be the one of escape ). You did a great job on the horses anatomy and captured the arabian head very very well. The look in his eyes is to die for, see I really don't know how to put it down but there is this certain something inside of the eye which makes this horse come to life! ... this one will be going into my faves!
