Description
Buccafloridea is a clade made of carnivorous ambush predator worms. They are mostly greyish in colour and the largest specimens can exceed one meter in length. You can tell Buccafloridea apart from other Vekia worms by the shape of their mouth, which resembles a large flower equipped with sharp hooks to better catch the unfortunate critter that ventures too close. They attract their prey by using light displays. Their mouths can retract completely. They are not very mobile and can stay in one place for weeks at a time to lure a prey inside their mouth structure.
