Colors definitly better here, but I think you are either too close or too far - I like the shots where the lighthouse is smaller better!

well since I can go two or three ways on a photo ( and its not that much extra work, he said as one who loves to fiddle ) its nice to get comparative view from the public so the NEXT time I enter the heritage photographic awards [link] my $100 worth of 4 glossy photos don't gets sent back with a rejection letter!!!!

I like this one so much more then Smooth Sailing. Great composition on this one. HDR lightning! It's a great shot! I'll add this as a Favorite!

Thanx.. easy to miss.. when that sensor spot was pointed out it was like a zit on my nose.... hard to miss... I just posted an edit of the other shot Smooth Sailing Too.. now see if the HDR is the better of the two![link]

Thats really hard to decide. I like them both very much. With such great light it really doesn't matter either. If I had to choose, I would pick the HDR simply because I think the composition works better.

Wonderful image ... I like this one more as it has more color in parts that are paler in the other version ... especially that orange part on the tower is key ... besides I like the framing better here ...

This one's looks better than the other.
It's really hard do make an HDR appear "normal", but you successfully managed to do this.
Great shot.

Now have a look at the normal shot with better exposure and with my pants pulled up high..... just shows what 50 sets of eyes can do to my postproduction.

This is lovely as well, but I do like the composition better on the other...but this one is nice and clean and gives you the entire picture.
