Description
In preparation for the final installment of the beloved Harry Potter series, I have been making One-of-a-Kind wands suited to denizens of the four Houses of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Each wand is made from real wood, carved and sanded by hand, then modified by sculpy additions which are in turn carved and painted. Each wand has a 'Magic Core' worked into it to simulate the actual Wand Cores required by the wands in the Harry Potter universe. As an additional magical enhancement, I have included a real crystal with real-world magical properties to increase the potency of the wand. Finally, each wand is sealed with an acrylic sealant to protect it from wear and damage. This premade OoaK wand has no holster, but one can be made specifically for it for a flat rate of $20 in an additional listing, and sent together for no extra shipping charge.

The 'Leonis' Wand -- for any member of Gryffindor House -- features:
•17" length, sturdy
•Silver-leaf Willow wood, harvested for a potent wand, "Willow is known as “the tree of enchantment”, and is hence quite favored for Charms. It also enhances healing magic, and is overall a willing, feminine wandwood."
•Chimera Scale Fragments Magical Core, (simulated from rose thorns) set into the paw of the lion on the pommel as claws - Although chimera scales are magically powerful, they are extremely rare in modern wandcraft. As they are generally made from heirlooms, they typically need multiple cores to gain stability and strength - this wand uses 5 fragments.
•Mahogany Obsidian and Cat's Eye (red tiger's eye) Accents, Mahogany obsidian has a gentle energy that will ground and protect its owner. Use it for strength in times of need, to remove energy blocks, and give new life to your purposes and goals. Healers use it to relieve pain and improve circulation. Red Tiger's Eye is used for meditation, to calm the emotions and centre the nerves. It offers patience, determination and focus.
•A strong and confident wand - useful in Defense Against the Dark arts, dueling and spells that require a lot of command. A bold grip than enables one to brace their finger on the Mahogany Obsidian for the attack, or brace with the thumb for an underhanded grip on the defense.
•Gold and Red colours for the Gryffindor House, with the motif of a Lion's Paw gripping the Tiger's Eye in the pommel..
