I was hiking in the woods when I came upon a small cluster of strange white plants.... I've never seen anything like them before. From such a low perspective, they look like a forest on another planet I think hahaRelated content

This is indian ghost pipe. I believe it is a fungus. It is very beautiful, and very medicinal. <3 I love this!

The lack of pigmentation contrasts great with the trees above. Sometimes coming up with a title for your work might be the hardest thing, but this one is most apt and gives a more interesting perspective to the image. Great job >< b

Thanks very much! I'd never seen plants like those in the woods where I hike so they did seem very foreign and alien.
The angle totally made it on this one, I think. They were rather puny and unphotogenic when viewed from above.
