My black unicorn shapeshifter character, Luath.Ths is a detail of a much larger pic, but I can't scan it all in my tiny scanner and I am dreadful at photographing my larger works.

Wow, so good! I had my fill of drawing horse anatomy and all I can say is that I won't touch it again... but it looks so smooth and effortless when you do it!

Did you have a particular horse project to work on?
I don't draw horses very much at all. Then I happened to end up with this black unicorn character for an RP and he kind of stuck, so I had to try. Funny, I used to draw horses much more when I was younger. Glad you think it turned out well

And yes, I had some horse-related projects. Eternities ago, I used to have a friend who was very much of a horse person. They taught me everything I knew about horse anatomy, so naturally I made a digital painting of them and their horse at some point, I think it was a get-well pressie when they were sick.
Anyhow, I remember now there must be a sketch of Rodney McKay as a horse somewhere on my hard drive!

Same with fanfic, actually, or at least it was with me. I just called it "stuff I wrote" until I realised that I wasn't alone and hey, look at all these OTHER people writing too!

This is just lovely wolf, one of the best drawings that you have ever done, I think. The musculature and the shading are just beautiful and brilliantly done, as is the general anatomy.
