Description Following the ratification of the United Earth Constitution the various states, provinces, etc of the Earth were mandated to redraw their borders to comply with the minimum population requirements necessary for statehood, effectively dissolving most of the Earth's historic regions and eliminating what remained of national boundaries. In North America this happened surprisingly quickly, as many former US States promptly established themselves as some of the first States within the United Earth. Many speculate this is largely due to the internal divisions within most North American regions.

ArtOfAnrach In reply to spartan1273 [2014-08-20 04:01:38 +0000 UTC]

I must protest as well! Why is Topeka on the map and not Wichita? Wichita is the biggest city in Kansas while Topeka is a glorified suburb with an aged capital building. Not to mention the fact that Wichita is home to the aviation industry that produces much of the airplanes and spacecraft parts used the world over...

Does it really make sense to have only 3 Mexican states (Aztlan and Texas would be majority American), after all Mexico has 100m million people. Personally I think that the names don't fit much as no region in Mexico is more fit to be called Mexico than any other and Maya and Aztec aren't really good names for any mexican region. it would be like calling your American states old native American names for the, such as Iroquois for New York.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 2

Warsie In reply to Lowtuff [2013-05-04 01:06:39 +0000 UTC]

those regions are majority mayan and aztec. well a decent portion at least. the natives still EXIST there, most of them bred with white ppl though.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 0

YNot1989 In reply to Lowtuff [2012-11-20 19:26:14 +0000 UTC]

Uh, no. Texas and New Mexico are actually a majority minority states now, and the inclusion of the Northern Mexican states would put it over the top. And each state displayed here has a population of approximately 30 million people, with the northern territories being too small in population for statehood.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 0

Lowtuff [2012-11-20 16:04:28 +0000 UTC]

yes, but around half of Quebec's population live south of the St Lawrence. the maritimes being New English makes sense, the additions in Quebec do not.
