This reminds me of an old creepy pasta i read called Experiment 41, the story was deleted but I save it on my computer years back. The story was read from a journal of a long dead Russian scientist who tried to help make super soldiers for the Russian army along side a hundred other scientists. Most of the experiments failed but their 41st was a success. They spliced the DNA of a spider, a scorpion, a tiger and a starfish with a human. Experiment 41 has a scorpion tail, a humanoid tiger body with enhanced strength, an enhance healing factor of a starfish and the head an abilities of a spider. They trained it to kill and it quickly learned how to use a variety of weapons and combatant abilities.Β
E 41 asked, "What was I made for?" One scientist (foolishly) said, " You were made to kill and revolutionize the war!" That was when all hell broke loose, it butchered the scientists and guards alike with out mercy. After the massacre, the area was searched over by special forces, they found the scientist's journal and a photograph of Experiment 41. The files got the highest level of classification, i guess it's no wonder why they deleted the story from the Creepy Pasta Wiki....Β

This reminds me of those giant black scorpions imported as pets in the early 90's. I remember seeing one in a mall store andΒ thinking, "this is free for me"
Although smaller, the one's I played with hadΒ a considerable bite and were very fast.

Oh, that is beautiful! It makes me think of Xenomorph's with the strange, slick look to it and I especially love the coloring on it.
I honestly think it may be my most favorite Mortasheen yet, with after the Jabbersnatch.

It looks great! With the colors, you can really tell it has an exoskeleton. On the older one, IΒ gotΒ theΒ impression that it was more of a fleshy skin.Β I love the hairs and the asymmetrical eyes on top. Β

It's beautiful! And still faithful to the original! And I just noticed the subtle transition from the tealish tail to the almost indigo extremities. Having it UV-fluoresce like a real scorpion and the entertainment implications of that are still hilarious.
