IΒ like her very much! Crazy Shirts has different tastes from the mainland style! Even though they, I think, print their T-shirts on the mainland they have a certain client in Hawaii! If you look at other T-shirt art (Hawaiian Style, Local Motion, Hawaiian Strength, etc.) from Hawaii, you'll see Crazy Shirts has no equal in style of designs they sell!

Sorry. I don't normally get so exuberant, but I just finished my first exam of the term, and the adrenalin is a little much... I'm a bit hyper...
But Pele is a really cool goddess. Her sister, Hiiaka (goddess of ferns, apparently) is pretty cool too.

I think the lines in her hair should've been continues throughout and the cut-off of her waist could've been done differently, but I otherwise love the character and logo.

Her hair was actually going to be turning into lava, but this was nothing more than a concept sketch- it's messy by my standards!

It's a great picture though her hair could use a little more streakiness near the bottom because it look to plain but it's a lovely job on the face and lips.

I know this was a long time ago, but having lived in Hawaii for years, I can see why crazy shirts didn't want it... it is tooo awesome. Crazy shirts have crap on thier shirts. that is what you should of drawn is tourist junk!!! This is way to nice for crazy shirts... these might be good though for HIC (Hawaiian Island Creations) they have nice stuff like this... (or yuo could just sell it on cafe press)
