Description
Well, I think we've all learnt something from this, mainly that I have no idea how collar bones work
How do the colours look on everyone's monitors? Because I've calibrated this computer screen a dozen times and I'm still getting a message that the software is defective and to rerun it. On this screen the top left is far paler than the top middle but on my brother's screen they look the same just with different colour variations... :/
So keeping that bottom middle palette for future pieces of Jac...
I am very happy with how the bottom three turned out! Much happier than the first three at least xD Even though the left was supposed to be a deep olive tone. I had a very hard time trying to capture that without making her look like She Hulk :/ So a lot of those olive tones weren't used sadly. I'm definitely going to give it another shot though.
I'm a bit puzzled now, because every time I've talked about this with someone on here, they always insist darker skin tones are much harder to capture than light ones, which was the exact opposite for me The darker tones were so much easier to shade, and I could get a much wider range of colours easier than I did with the light ones. Not to mention they were much easier to highlight. (I may or may not have gone a little overboard with highlights, ssh, who cares, they look pretty...)
I also want to practice how I colour hair, so I'll probably be lazy and use these ladies for bases, but I'm sure they won't mind.
It still feels wrong putting this under a digital art category, it's just practiceeee D:

Great!!! I really love this!!! but don't forget highlights for fair skin too, you can add a glowy effect with the right colours here you have some highlights, I have some swatches for fair skin I used a super glowy skin in all my Targaryen's portraits (well in all my GOT fanarts xD) fc06.deviantart.net/fs70/f/201…

Oh! That don't mean you did it wrong. You did the paler skin really nice, and I usually don't paint the pale skin too glowy, but it could be good know which colours you need, although you will not use them ^^
