Description This is why I prefer the SNES version of Turtles in Time over the arcade version: EXTRA LEVELS! And mousers, too! And I guess Michealangelo is already becoming the butt of my jokes in these drawings. I guess you couldn't recognize Mikey when the drawing isn't in color. Whoops.

Anyway, here's what the Technodrome level looks like... [link]

And here's another awesome remix! [link]

Raph and Mikey look more like their 2003 cartoon counterparts.

This is some of the most delightfully inspired Turtles art I've seen! Blending a Mirage-esque art style with 1987 themes that the ever-awesome SNES version of Turtles in Time so brilliantly realised, and I would even argue that it borrows slightly from the 2003 cartoon. That is to say, I can almost hear Mike's girly scream in this picture.

How do you feel about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist on the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive? It was basically TMNT4 without the time-travel storyline. Anyway, nice pic.

Technically speaking, shouldn't the Mouser be biting Mikey's hand and not just the end of his 'chuks? lol

Tokka looks massively intimidating with all those spikes everywhere and the gaping roar. NICE.

Raph's, "Eh, WTF?" expression is as priceless as Mikey's, *Girly Scream!* "Run away!!!" expression. XD

FAVED.

This makes me think of my Granpa's house...cuz that's where I played this game with my bro, whenever we visited.

You can tell which turtle is which by their weapons :> Your artwork is always above par. Awesome job.

Mousers are so annoying. The only appeared in only ONE episode, and they've been in every video game since.

Michaelangelo: "Ahhhhh! Sharp teeth, dude!

Actually, they're nowhere to be found in the arcade version of Turtles in Time.

Viper-X27 In reply to Garth2The2ndPower [2009-08-29 22:13:42 +0000 UTC]

They're not?

Then let me rephrase.

Mousers are so annoying. They only appeared in only ONE episode, and they've been in almost every video game since.

Awesome artwork as usual but what I like most is the style. Its different from your usual style and shows that've you come along way!

Maybe soon, you'll be able to draw in every style possible!

Eh, if he didn't want to be the butt of jokes, he shouldn't have signed on as the team's obligatory comedy relief.

eoghankerrigan [2009-08-28 17:49:59 +0000 UTC]

Oh man! Tokka and Rahzar! They were the best, I had the action figures of them that could transform into the dog and snapping turtle. You made Tokka look more monstrous than he normally is . I like the cramped feeling of the picture too.

OmegaMorph [2009-08-28 17:48:36 +0000 UTC]

Technodrome level is usually the highlight of all the beat-em-ups. Too bad the remake of Turtles in Time sticks to the arcade version and don't got it from what I hear. : (

Maetch [2009-08-28 16:48:34 +0000 UTC]

"Master say have fun!" "FUN!"
"Tonight I dine on Turtle Soup."

Out of all the changes to the game in the SNES version, the Technodrome was definitely the best one. I mean, you reach the infamous base, fight through Foots, Mousers, Tokka and Rahzar, and Shredder in his tank. But then, just when it looks like you've won... BAM! He sends you back into the Stone Age.

It makes more sense than in the arcade, where Shredder just warps you for no good reason after slaughtering Pizza Monsters by the dozens in "Sewer Surfin'".

"My patience is wearing thin. I'm banishing you to a time warp, from which you shall never return!"

FAVE'D!

BlackHat0061 [2009-08-28 16:40:17 +0000 UTC]

that was a fun level...but how did u throw the enemies at the screen to hit shredder? it was always by luck that i'd hit him

It's a crying shame Tokka and Razar had only one appearance in the entire franchise; I would have love to seen those two working along side Rocksteady and Bebop.

The1Yoshi In reply to tora777 [2012-02-29 18:39:31 +0000 UTC]

They appeared in the 1987 cartoon, I got this info from Wikipedia so it might not be 100% accurate but they did appear in the 1987 cartoon.

[link]

Just download the DivX player if you don't have it, but they did appear in the 1987 cartoon.

Though they're different from their movie counterparts but hey at least they did make an appearance in another part of the Turtles franchise.

Thanks man. Found an image of them on Google, they looked better in the cartoon than in the movie.

The1Yoshi In reply to tora777 [2013-10-13 18:29:46 +0000 UTC]

Well they were also smarter than they were in movie in the first cartoon as well, they actually spoke full-blown sentences and did not have the minds of babies.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

The1Yoshi In reply to The1Yoshi [2013-10-13 18:32:06 +0000 UTC]

(Read previous comment) and I mean they did not have the mind of babies in the first TMNT cartoon, they also appeared in a different episode among tons of other mutants that were being captured or loose or something like that but their second appearance in the first TMNT cartoon was no more than a cameo.

*CHOMP* OH GOD! *CHOMP* It's eating my arms! *CHOMP* And now it's eating me! *CHOMP* And then it's going to eat all of you!

Oh my GOOOOOOOOOOO*CHOMP*
