Yes, another TMNT 4: Turtles in Time picture. I just might do one for each level. In case you missed it, here's my first one... [link]Just another attempt to wash the stigma of "Reshelled" from the memories of the old-school fans and create awareness of one of the greatest games in history. My favorite VG move of all time would have to be hitting a flying manhole cover back at the Foot soldier who threw it at me. Aside from that, the upbeat tune of this level made tossing enemies around like ragdolls all the more enjoyable. Here's a sample for those poor, unfortunate souls who never owned a Super Nintendo... I like how you shade everything with the hatching going the direction of the... uh... horizon... perspective point... I guess? I dont know exactly how to explain it but hopefully you know what I mean. Phenomenal job guy.

Ah, Roadkill Rodneys...practically mini-bosses in their own right, given how freakin' fast and resilient they were. What do you think? Were they more of a pain in the butt than the Rock Soldiers? It's a toss-up for me.
Metalhead is spectacularly rendered. Freakin' awesome--I can tell he's launching into that annoying 'helicopter leg spin kick of DOOM' trick he'd use after you beat on him too much. A pity the ducking trick Raph is using to evade wasn't actually available to us in-game!

Yeah though that's another thing the SNES version had over the Arcade one that G0069 didn't mention. The SNES version had the Roadkill Rodneys while the Arcade version didn't. Instead the Arcade version had these lame robots that rolled around on treads and that had boxing glove on their hands, who were completely lame compared to the Roadkill Rodneys.
Why the Roadkill Rodneys were replaced is anyone's guess, seeing how the first TMNT Arcade game had them.

For some reason my friend kept saying that the Super Nintendo version is broken compared to the arcade original, but I have no idea what he's thinking. I'd love to see more of these.

I agree, the SNES version is one of the best Beat 'em ups I've ever played. Just the fact that you had so many different moves and full control of which one to execute was something that they were never really able to recreate. Like, if I want to throw a foot solider, a foot solider throwing is imminent. Amazing!
Doctor: "How on EARTH did you get a sewer lid lodged into your pancreas!?"
Foot: "Well, you see, these giant radioactive mutant turtles carrying ninja weapons were..."
Doctor: "Fine, fine, sorry I asked. I'll just put you down for 'sex game accident'"
