I wonder, why was Rocksteady the harder one to dispatch both in the 1st arcade and this game?
This is awesome, btw,

"You're walkin' the plank, shell brains!"
The mutant morons look surprisingly capable in this, not that that's a bad thing. Mikey, as usual, gets the worst of it.
FAVE'D!

Well of course they're competent in the video games, they have to make the bosses challenging in the first Arcade game both of them alone are hard to beat (be it in the Arcade version or NES version) and when they throw both of them (in the original arcade since they're replaced with Baxter Stockman as a fly in the NES version due to the NES limitations) Β at you at the same time in the parking lot level in the original 1989 arcade it's a total nightmare even if you do have more than one friend on your side, though they still do try and make them look stupid by having them run into each other, oddly enough it doesn't damage them in Konami's first TMNT arcade but it does here when they added Rocksteady and Bebop to the SNES version of Turtles in Time. Plus it's not just the two mutant morons who are harder than their cartoon and movie counterparts
We know Shredder is hardly a threat in the original cartoon and Super Shredder who we face at the end of this version of TiT was beaten rather easily, in the NES and Arcade version of Konami's first TMNT arcade game Shredder is really tough to beat, plus while Super Shredder is easy once you know how to handle him he's still a lot tougher than he actually was in the second TMNT live action movie since a falling pier took him out there.

Freaking love that game. I always played in 7th grade in my one teachers class room. A teacher with an SNES in her class= pure awesomeness. Although i never could finish the game because i always ran out of time and had to go to my next class/go home.

Nice use of foreground and background, makes me wish the actual stage had an upper deck to jump on.

I dunno if you heard or not, but they released a remake of Turtles in Time on the PS3 and XBox 360 for download. As an avid fan of the original, I downloaded the demo. Plays EXACTLY the same, just with fantastically upgraded graphics.
An example, this is Skull and Crossbones... in 3D!

Umm... I didn't fast-forward in the video to see that the bosses weren't Bebop and Rocksteady. My bad.
