Yep. Still rolling with the Turtles in time pics. Yet another advantage that the SNES version had over the arcade version...FLYING MOUSERS!! Imagine if Shredder used those more often. They'd be like a giant swarm of metal locusts, electrifying to the touch. The implications are endless...in fact, why am I telling you this? You know what? Forget I mentioned that....
According to the game, the year this stage is set in is 2020. Just think, in a mere decade, we too can enjoy surfing on hoverboards over gap-filled highways, dodging robotic ninjas in helicopter-type vehicles. Actually, I wouldn't mind having one of those mini-choppers. Those would be fun to ride, though I suppose refueling them will be ridiculously expensive...even more so than today.
And if such a future doesn't come to pass, we can still enjoy AVGN ranting about it in a future review.

You know in the Arcade game this was basically the same as the Sewer Surfin' level in that it scrolled from left to right, however Konami decided to take advantage of the SNES's Mode 7 abilities so it's played from a perspective behind the Turtles.

I gotta say, of all the bosses, Super Krang struck me as the cheapest of them, what with his flying kick that you couldn't ever interrupt, his "Ha I'm invincible and spitting bombs into the air before disappearing for a bit" trick, and the inevitable overhand smash if you made the mistake of finishing out a hit combo against him...yeah. And yet another one of the Turtles looks...um...horribly screwed. This time it's Mikey instead of Don. Does that mean Raph or Leo is going to find themselves in similar straits in the future? lol

This decade has people turning into jelly and Ken fighting frogs while on an acid trip, next decade has mutant turtles on hover boards fighting a disembodied brain from another dimension. You have to wonder who comes up with these predictions.

Yup, the "distant" year of 2020 XD. Also it kinda sucks that the Krang bot was beating so easily in Turtles Forever when it took the rest of us 1 or 2 lives to beat it. : (

The stage was more enjoyable in the arcade. I really don't like the "Bonus Stage" style that the SNES used for this and "Sewer Surfin'" I agree on the Flying Mousers, however.
