I still bawl like a baby whenever I watch The Land Before Time. Like, from the opening credits until the tape is rewinding. The original will always, always break me. What Sequels? I know not of what you speak. You're like those crazy people who keep telling me there were two more Matrix movies, or a sequel to NIMH. Madness.

It was like "HUMAN TEST: Watch the Land Before Time scene where Littlefoot's mother dies. Did you cry? Yes: You are human. No: GET OUT OF HERE YOU EVIL SPAMBOT. And fohghhhh, the ending theme, If We Hold On Together - it not only makes me cry /every single time/, I had to incorporate it into this Animorphs fanart I mades. [link]

Omg King's Quest and Space Quest. and to a lesser extent Leisure Suit Larry. I need to find those STAT. Mostly I'm just replaying all the old Final Fantasies, because I'm sick of these silly, bullshit, recent we're-kind-of-like-RPGs-but-not-really walk in a straight line for 20 hours before you can finish the tutorial games. I'm looking at you, Final Fantasy 13.

I LOVE that comic. I died laughing a little when I first saw it. And oh god the ending theme. I still start bawling whenever the lines 'Words are swaying/someone is praying/ Please let us come home to stay.' Abandonment/displacement issues much? SURVEY SAYS YES. Even typing the lines I get all misty-eyed. I don't do misty-eyed but for those precocious, indomitable little dinosaurs.
Also, I'm totes loving the epic fro you gave Cassie. I've always loved her, not just because we have the same name. She's just goddamn cool. And that? Totally her.

:> I have to say my favorite Sierra game (and maybe favorite game... ever) is a completely obscure, overlooked, underloved game called Betrayal in Anatara. Meant to be a sequel to Betrayal at Krondor, widely hated because it WASN'T KRONDOR (they lost the license), but really really good on its own. :C At least I think so.
OH GOD I had to watch the entire review right now. That was AMAZING. And ACCURATE.
