That's whats "putting the dots on the I" means with these drawings! they should also do that with the tmnt movies because Michael Bay sucks!

This and all the other tribute art, is FUCKING AWESOME!!!! No fan I've seen has gone to showing more love for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 4: Turtles in Time than having each stage drawn out with an epic scene of the enemies and boss. Like stage one, this first drawing got me hooked to seeing all of them, as well as read what you had to say. Thanks again man for posting all these submissions for all of us to view and love!!!
(Thumbs Up, followed by an explosion forming the shape of a 10)

I have played the arcade version, but I prefer the SNES version, as it has Bebop and Rocksteady.

And one thing I didn't get to add because I just remembered it, you should still respect the Arcade version still because without the Arcade version the SNES version wouldn't exist and have something to build upon. So no Arcade version means no SNES version either, anyways I do find the game enjoyable but both versions are hard (though like I said the Arcade one is the least forgiving in the difficulty department) I mean yeah there is humor in it but its like nearly every part of the game thats meant to be funny is usually parts where you take damage,
I know its supposed to be cartoonish humor but do we really need to take a beating in order to have a laugh playing this game? Because I noticed in both version most of the cartoonish humor is the turtles taking damage. I guess its meant to keep you from getting P.O.'d at those parts but that hardly matters during a Game Over.
I got to say I need practice at this game more, though one cool thing I find about the Arcade one is since its on emulator (hey believe Me I want the SNES version on a console download service too or at least the original Arcade) I can play as all four Turtles at once though a difference in the Arcade version to the SNES one is the second Krang boss fight in Starbase if you take too long in the Arcade version Krang will eventually run away (I know this because I have never defeated him playing all four Turtles at once) whereas the SNES version lets you defeat him, Baxter Stockman did the same thing in the first Turtles Arcade game when he wasn't a mutant fly boss.

Well both have their strengths and their weaknesses I know I shouldn't talk due to the fact I only ever played TMNT II The Arcade Game for the NES which was a port of the first TMNT Arcade game for the NES as a kid (please don't tell Me how much the real Arcade version of that game is better I understand the NES version is low tech compared to the Arcade but I hold the NES version dearly in My heart as I played it with My Dad when I was a little kid and he knew the 9 lives cheat and My Dad died on My family when I was barely starting high school) Anyways the Arcade and SNES versions do have their strengths and weaknesses anyways I have played them in this modern age (which really says a lot about how good the past console generations were compared to the modern one today) through means I'm not proud of (though can you blame Me? its not like either version of TMNT Turtles in Time has been released unchanged and then theres the fact that the only TMNT game on the Wii is the crappy first non beat em' up one for the NES)
Anyways I do like the Arcade version for having a four player version though I guess I can let the SNES version off the hook for that seeing as 4 player console play had not been invented yet. Then there was the part where all four turtles would do a high five in a circle after defeating a boss, the SNES version had bonus stages one of which took advantage of the SNES's Mode-7 capabilities (Neon Night Riders if you're wondering) then there was the exclusive Technodrome level, and there were Comic skins for the Turtles which was very nice for fans who knew more about the Turtles outside of the 80's cartoon and exlusive bosses, but the Arcade version was also more brutal and challenging while the SNES watered down the difficulty a bit (I could tell this by simply fighting Leatherhead in both versions and comparing the fight to both versions he's easier in the SNES version even on the hard difficulty but on the Arcade version I took quite a beating from him as he hits you much easier and I took a lot of damage losing a lot of lives in the Arcade version compared to the SNES version).
So the Arcade version is less forgiving than the SNES version and more of a challnge not the the SNES version doesn't get hard but when I compared how hard the Arcade version is to the SNES version the Arcade version was definatly harder (If I wasn't playing with infinitive quarters I'd probably not have even gotten to the Starbase level) whether thats a weakness or a strength is up to you as TV Tropes say Your Milage May Vary.

You have struck a very sensitive chord in my Maki heart.
This game from my childhood..is LEGENDARY!!!
I still have it and plug that sucker into the SNES every so often..but MAN...10 year old Maki would blast that sewer surfing stage way past her bedtime every night of the week. *ocean wave crashes on rocks*
The music too was unforgettable, made it so much fun listening to that and the character phrases while fighting off 15 foot soldiers.
I was always Michelangelo of course.
Me and Raphael cleared those Big Apple streets like fat kids at an ice cream buffet.

I'm more of a Donatello man, myself. Rarely is there a more satisfying sensation than mercilessly beating the Rock soldiers with mah big stick and the looks on their faces as they convulse in pain!!

"Prepare to die!"
"Terminate the Turtles!"
Granted, the SNES version's good, but it didn't quite match the craziness of the original arcade version. Heck, the arcade literaly mobs you with Foots, especially if you've gone too long without dying. To me, the perfect TMNT:TiT would've combined the sheer action of the arcade with the added goodies of the SNES.
Still, both versions are far superior to the new one. The original game was specifically designed with the '80s Turtles in mind, not the more serious modern Turtles.
I love the tribute. Any chance of seeing more stages, like Neon Night-Riders?
FAVE'D!

Yeah, there will be more stage drawings. I may just do them all, but they'll be the SNES ones, meaning, no Cement Man.

Looks a little like Leo's doing that weird spit-in-the-face-of-physics kick. I mean, when you're going down in a jump, you don't suddenly bounce UP for an extra kick... Then again, there was that slow-motion jump attack you could do, too... TMNT IV was so awesome, it didn't NEED rules.

Actually, Leo's kicking as he's jumping upward. It's a move straight from the game. You'll see it in the second video link in my artist comment at 1:40.

hmmm.... if i remember correctly, we were forbidden to watch TMNT as kids by our dad. and since we had no gaming platforms until this year i've never even heard of it as a game. but the picture sure looks awesome! especially the perspective its in!

Yeah, parents were always griping about TMNT being too violent, or Michealangelo's surfer/stoner voice. It got to a point where Mikey couldn't even use nunchaku on the show because it looked unsafe. So, instead, he got a grappling hook.
Fun fact: Nunchaku are illegal in Canada.

I'm not religious in the traditional sense. I'm a spiritual person, but I'm not into any organized religion. If I were, I'd like to be a Shintoist. I was forced to go to bible camp when I was twelve as a "behavioral correction" thing. And then I learned how to shoot stuff. Riflery course, don't'cha know.

-sighs contently- aah, the classic 80s-90s of TMNT...those were fine days, fine days indeed -nods- the live action films were wonderful and the series had all sorts of action. I knew the games well, as well as those kickass toys...OH! pizza launcher figurines, those were EPIC
